It is not lost on very serious political observers that Trump is just phoning it in. He knows he cannot win this election by conventional means. The polls had him hopeful that he could have defeated Joe Biden. However, once Biden dropped out of the race and endorsed Kamala Harris, Trump immediately understood his most sinister plans would need to be implemented if he had the slightest chance. His problem is that his sinister plans were designed for Biden and not an energetic and highly competent opponent like V.P. Harris.
Just like the regular media outlets that have come to normalize Trump, his campaign had bought into the media and punditry narrative that V.P. Harris was so maligned that Democrats would dump her along with President Biden in a messy open convention floor fight as their 2024 Presidential nominee.
It didn’t take him long to realize that he and his team had been suckered into a situation that may prove to be the most stunning self-owns in American political history. Biden announces he is dropping out of the race, less than 30 minutes later, he announces he is endorsing V.P. Kamala Harris. Within 36 hours, her team announces that she has secured the backing of all the Democratic delegates to secure the nomination. Within less than a week, she announces her campaign has received more than $100 million in donations, 80 of which are small-dollar donations.
Next her V.P. choice of Minnesota Governor, Tim Walz turns out to be an unexpected winner. In the meantime, donations are still coming in. To date, the combined Biden/Harris and Harris/Walz campaigns have raised almost $680 million. The Trump campaign has barely raised half that amount.
The Republican Senatorial Committee has announced that it is almost out of money at the same time that two solid Republican seats are now polling even with their Democratic opponents. The Harris/Walz campaign just announced that it will donate $25 million to down-ballot races. You can be sure that more money will be targeted to Senate races in Florida, Texas, Ohio, and Montana. It’s likely that the Harris/Walz campaign will have close to $1 billion in their coffers by mid-October and will pour more money into turning out the vote in those states as well as Georgia, North Carolina, Arizona, Nevada, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Michigan.
Let me get to the point, this all fell into place in such a way that it had to be orchestrated. Democrats have been sitting back and watching Trump run for President for the past two years. He has raised millions from his supporters and big-money donors. They have also watched him redirect money to his legal troubles. They smiled as he had his legal team file frivolous legal challenges and appeals to convictions and judgments against him at a cost to the Trump campaign. If he had to pay up judgments on his civil cases and fines on his criminal cases, he would owe close to $1 billion.
Oh, other cases are waiting in the wings, including other civil cases related to January 6, 2020. There are other cases related to his Trump media stock and other potential cases related to the criminal cases that are currently on hold.
What does Project 2025 have to do with all this? First, the Heritage Foundation and the Trump team got extremely overconfident when they thought they would go into November 5th running against Joe Biden. They knew that the CEOs of all the legacy media outlets were Trump supporters and they appeared to have successfully implemented a false equivalency strategy and held Biden to a different standard.
This became apparent during the Afghanistan withdrawal. Not one media outlet kept the drumbeat that Trump negotiated the troop withdrawal with the Taliban after having Pakistan release over 7000 Taliban troops and their leadership a full year before the withdrawal. Trump did not include the Afghan government in those negotiations. Not one legacy media outlet held Trump accountable for refusing to allow the Biden transition team any access to the Pentagon and records on the withdrawal before the January 20, 2021 inauguration. American conservatives point to 13 American troops who died in an ISIS bombing attack outside of the Kabul Airport but none credit Biden for getting over 250 thousand Afghans out of the country.
J.D. Vance wrote the forward to the more than 900 pages of the Project 2025 plan. Trump’s VP choice wrote the forward. Why was he the Republican VP choice? Because the Heritage Foundation wanted it that way. Why?
If Trump wins reelection he will be invited to step aside. If he agrees Vance will do a Gerald Ford-style pardon. Trump will be allowed to take all the money he can steal and walk away. If he refuses Vance will call the cabinet together and execute the 25th Amendment. He will be removed.
As President and dictator under the control of the Heritage Foundation and the Federalist Society, Vance will implement Project 2025, the public portion and the portion that has yet to be seen, the part their President, Kevin Roberts says, is too radical to be made public at this time. Understand, people smarter and far more focused that Trump will have control of the military and the federal judiciary.
Vance will have absolute immunity, the gift that SCOTUS appeared to have given to Trump but in reality, they gave it to the position of President. They will also rid themselves of any rabid Trump fans who offer any resistance to their takeover. They will enact their insidious plan of Christian Nationalism.
It is unfortunate that there has been an increase of Gen Z minority males, who are leaning toward Trump. This might be offset by an increase of white voters leaning toward Harris/Walz.
